I hope this is the right place to post but I'm a current university student hoping to find a place to live near campus for a pretty low price (I know nearer to campus is more expensive but i's something that I need). My school starts really late- like end of September late and I don't know if it's worth it to have to pay an entire September-worth of rent for a place I'll barely live in. In addition, it's also complicated by the fact that I'm looking to sublease short-term since university could get canceled again due to the current situation in the United States and I want to not have to commit to anything long term.
Does anybody have any advice on what to do? Do you think it's possible to start sublease in October or do you think the chances of that is slim? Should I just go for a rent in September and deal with the extra $700+ it would cost me?
