Hi, I recently purchased a Bosch 300 series dishwasher. It cleans great but there tends to be a nasty smell that starts 2-3 days after a wash. I do clean the filter out regularly. A google search suggested it might be buildup in the drain hose. I have an air gap but in all the diagrams I've seen it shows the hose going out the dishwasher directly up into the air gap and then back down to the garbage disposal. My air gap is on the other side of the sink as my dishwasher so the hose runs flat along the back of the cabinet for about 3 feet before going up to the air gap. Is it possible that's the issue? Would it make sense to put in a short extension so I can have a high loop closer to the dishwasher that then goes to the air gap?Edit: how it's currently set up via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/3kCuwP7
