I graduated from college in June 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. I didn’t have a huge passion for business but I knew I had to get some type of college degree to get a good job and be able to support myself and my child (single mom here)! So, I’ve finally realized what I want my career to be - an elementary teacher - but SHOULD I do it? Do you think, on a teacher’s salary, I would be able to live comfortably enough with my child and myself? If it helps, I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia.
To become a teacher, I’d be going for a Post Bachelors Elementary Education Teacher’s Certificate program.
