I am hearing so many people say that we will have a vaccine by December 2020 or early 2021. I am studying in med school right now and I have to say that these people are engaging in nothing but wishful thinking. Normally a vaccine takes YEARS to develop SAFELY and for MASS DISTRIBUTION. Moreover, we have NEVER had a coronavirus vaccine.. Not for SARS and not for the cold. Unless groundbreaking innovations have been made the past several months, it seems unlikely we will have mass vaccinations available until late 2022 the earliest. If a vaccine does get release right now there will MOST DEFINITELY be many side effects and I would not feel safe taking it. So why are people, and the market, pricing in an early release of a vaccine??
