We bought this place last November, and all the windows worked fine. Now, when I could use a cooling cross-breeze, the ones above the kitchen sink won't open. They (pair) crank open like doors. The crank mechanism is fine, but the windows both seem to be jammed at the top center. We have removed the screens from inside and tried pushing the place they're stuck, but we're afraid if we get them open, they won't close again.Is this a common thing with vinyl crank-outs? I figured vinyl wouldn't swell like wood in the humidity, guess I'm wrong? Any suggestions on how to fix them? My google-fu sucks.
