I’m not sure if this is the best place to ask but here it goes...
I was just let go from my job due to covid, with good luck I was actually able to find a better job within the week. My new position would allow me to have insurance right away.
In my severance it says the company will pay me a lump sum for the cost of a few months of cobra. Am I required to use this for cobra?
