I have a backyard that slopes down away from the house. In order to make the backyard more usable, the idea is to level out the middle section while removing earth from upper side of the slope and building up lower side.In the photos attached, I've got 2 ideas: use only slopes OR build retaining walls. A third option would be to use only 1 retaining wall and slope the other side.I'm having a hard time finding info online for guidance. Any suggestions on if either options is better?Ground would be covered after the fact to reduce erosion. Currently, no issues with erosion.
