Yo guis i finished school 3 days ago I'm happy af.
I'm 18 going 19 this year.
I'm in Italy.
I live with my parents, I have no driving license nor car but I will get it in the next months, I also want to get a gun license and buy some guns when I have the money.
Anyway when I went to school for the final exam I got 390€ cash as a refund for a school trip we didn't do bc of coronaovirus and I pocketed it so i have some money now, I had some other money so I got 418€.
I'm looking at online bank accounts and credit cards, I'd keep it in cash but I want to put the money on Tastyworks and sell premium (selling options for those who don't know what that is, it's a financial instrument look it up on Google) and make it grow a bit, I don't expect nothing crazy but its better than nothing, keeping it conservative. Theta gang.
I'm studying stuff I like by myself and i intend to keep doing it, math, economy, physics, finance, history, philosophy, chemistry, Khan academy, sites, YouTube and books.
I think a good non-creative way to make money is just find some job, better if it's not lame af but I dont expect much with the current situation plus I'm an unskilled worker, I don't expect a high pay obviously but I'd like something where i can learn, not like a McDonald cashier. I know some family friends who have restaurants maybe I could go there.
I'll prepare a curriculum with some non verifiable invented stuff in it, or write I worked in places where there's people I know that will say that's true in case they are asked, and go to the employment agency tomorrow with a friend to see what jobs will pop out.
I'd like to go in the army for an year, but I want to be operative in a war not sit on my ass, war is shitty but it's a thing I have to experience once in my life, and on top of that they pay like 3000€/month if you're deployed which is a fuckton. I don't think that's possible since there are no wars for the Italian army and they send few people which I think are well qualified. The othe option is sitting on my ass for an year in the army and get 800€/months (with no living expenses) but it seems like a waste of time.
Other idea is, after being confident in myself for selling premium, doing it with some other people money too and take a % of it, so I can be conservative (selling OTM options, small postions, on stocks I know, searching for high IV rank stocks) and make more money without increasing the risk. This can go along with the other job.
I don't want to slave myself to work since I wanna enjoy life and also study, and the opportunity cost would be huge if I stayed the whole day at a shitty job but i gotta make compromises on my PPC.
Other idea is stealing from parkimeters if they're easy to open I gotta see.
I'm good at taking photos and intend to work towards it and find some clients, individuals or businesses or real estate. I also know some professional photographer that could take me with them(we worked together in the past) or give me smaller jobs they don't take, useful for creating a network too.
I could fight people in boxing matches at the park and bet money, if I'm confident in the fact that I'll win, I have no problems sparring better people but if I have to bet money I gotta be confident. I do boxe btw it's not random.
I also intend to train and get back in shape since I haven't been doing anything for months now, I was like depressed or something for some time, but now I'm flourishing.
Idk about university, there are things I'm interested in and I want to study them but you dont necessarily have to go to university, actually yes from a job point of view. I just see that there's a predetermined path for people to follow in our society and I don't like it, I want to have adventures and an original not be an NPC (stereotype I know).
I also plan on going out with the few friends I have and have adventures.
I wanted to share bc I'm enthusiastic and also to get some advice, there's some non financial stuff too but I don't care.
