The same question has been asked before but my situation is unique or at least I did not find any alike case.My AC use an outside unit to generate cool air and an inside air handler to blow the cool air to each room. It works fine until today. When I set AC to "cool" position and fan position to either "on" or "auto" position, the fan goes on and off repeatedly. I checked outside unit which works properly and I can feel by touching that cold air is generated and delivered through a pipe. The issue is that the inside air handler's fan that turns on and off in this setting. Interestingly if I turn the AC to "off" position but set the fan to "on“ position, the fan works properly and constantly deliver air to each room (of course not cold). After checking many posts here are what I did.clean the fan dust/change air filterreplace air handler capacitor - the old one doesn't look bad but i changed anyways given it's been at least 15 yrs.Still not working.Any suggestion or hint will be greatly appreciated. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/3fAIEVt
