I'd like to make a lead shot bag for my workshop. Ideally it should be some type of extremely durable cloth, preferably thick/dense enough that it won't let lead powder out but also porous enough that air can pass through so it doesn't balloon (so not leather). It would be great if it could conform/stretch slightly but not essential.
I'd first guess some sort of canvas but I thought I'd ask here because the sort of people who come here might know a thing or two about special durable cloth.
Any sort of info is much appreciated, also in regards to the type of durable thread I'd be best using to stitch it together.
