My girlfriend wants to get into wood carving and basic woodworking this summer, so I'm looking for some basic tools to get her. I'm thinking a set of chisels and a plane to start with.
I want them to be quality enough to continue to have a place in her toolbox if she gets fully into it, but not too high quality/expensive to be a waste if she ends up dropping the hobby after a few months.
Any recommendations?
