I've asked myself that many times and im trying to figure out the answers for me personally. Apart of me thinks I'm just trying to make myself feel better about my situation and how im never gonna be rich.

Another part of me thinks it really is a great way to live and that materialism and status isn't that important. I don't know, its a phase I'm going through. Just wondering what others think.
