I don't know how this happened but I am looking through my paystubs from 2019 and it looks like I am only having deducted 1% in federal income tax each period?
Is that possible?
It's for one of my part time jobs.
Example stub:
Gross income: $487.50
Federal income tax: $1.83
Social Security Tax: $30.23
Medicare tax: $7.06
the SS is substantially more in every check. Am I missing something here?
For the whole year only roughly $170 in federal taxes were deducted so now I am owing back like $700
