Hey all!
I'm going through an entire sock wardrobe upgrade and intend on replacing all my socks. Thankfully I don't have much, but I wear socks around the house, when I go snowboarding, and when I go to work (in a professional business setting).
For business, I'm replacing my Gold Toes that have to be at least 4 years old (and have holes everywhere). I typically wear black, gray, or brown socks. Thankfully it seems like DT carries these, at least for certain models. I was wondering, which Darn Tough socks are best for a professional work setting? I see all sorts on their website and can't seem to figure out what the difference between them really is. For example, some show as "cushion" and others show as "light" and I can't really distinguish between them online. I don't need anything too thick at work but I'd definitely like something long lasting.
For home, I usually wear no show socks. I've typically only worn black or white as far back as I can remember, so I don't see any need to switch. However, like with the business socks, I'm super confused what to pick. For example, I found https://darntough.com/products/mens-topless-solid-no-show-hidden-light?variant=854091431955 and https://darntough.com/collections/mens-run/products/mens-ss18-coolmax-vertex-no-show-tab-ultra-light-cushion?variant=13339996749877 but can't really seem to tell the difference aside from style. I'm sure they have more as well.
Finally, I also do some snowboarding in the winter months and was curious if Darn Tough carries a lightweight but warm ski/board sock?
I guess I'm just having difficulty comparing what's on their website to what translates in real life. I don't typically wear nor need super thick socks nor do I do much hiking. I'm just looking for good quality socks for my own personal needs!
Thanks for all who are willing to help!
