I’m moving to a new city this summer at 21. It has a higher-than-average COL. The apartments I’m looking at are between $900 and $1,150ish per month (not including utilities). These are definitely the lowest prices in the area.
I’m mostly asking for personal experiences here — is it worth it to shell out the extra $150-250 a month to have a little more room for my pets and I to move around? My partner will also join us if he can find a job in the new city.
Since I’ve only lived in shared apartments so far, I’m looking for others who’ve chosen between studios and one-bedrooms.
