I have a few credit cards and always pay the balance off the month it hits my card. Due to the craziness of the past month, I didn’t realize the 15th had hit and I didn’t pay anything until the 17th.
I called today to get it waived, as I’ve had my card for years and this is the first late payment I’ve had. I didn’t even have to speak to an agent. They automatically reversed the $35 fee & the 1.74 it accrued in interest for the 2 days while I used their automated phone operator.
Just thought I’d pass this experience along to make sure anyone else in the same boat at least gives it a try.
