If you ever get contacted by a law firm about joining a class-action lawsuit (unless you’re planning to sue the defendant independently), go ahead and add your name, as it only takes a few minutes, and you have nothing to lose. I just got a check for hundreds of dollars for having responded to a postcard in the fall. Their estimate had only been $20, but I guess not enough people bothered.
