I have a lot invested in the stock market. Currently I am down approximately $220,000 (on paper).
Normally when the stock market dips, I never think twice about it. I’d never consider selling. It’s a long term investment for me. I’m 44 and have been in the game since I was 21. It will rebound and it will be ok. It has always rebounded and it has always been ok.
Well, my new SO is very different from me in this respect. He doesn’t trust the stock market and thinks I should pull out, which is crazy, right?
I should add that my SO is a lovely man, but his finances are a mess.
Thoughts? What would you do?
