I overheard my mom and my stepdad talking about how they were going to pay for some new furniture. My step-dad said that his credit wasn’t any good and my mom offered to let him use MY name and info for a loan. I did a little snooping and found that my parents have been doing shit like this for at least two years. I found out that “I” opened a credit card and have a phone line in my name, even though I’m 15.
I need help trying to navigate this situation. I don’t really have any (financially) trustworthy adults that I think would properly handle this.
