My mom passed and I inherited a home in Simi Valley, CA. I already have my own home and don't plan on moving there. There's obviously a lot of things that help make the decision to rent or sell. Feel free to ask what I left out. Zillow says it's worth $913k. A property manager said it should rent for about $4k/month. They also want about 10% of that each month. I'd need a pool man and gardener. The mortgage (including taxes and insurance) is $2100/month. Still owe about 250k. Plus 80k on a HELOC. Also about 20k in loans (solar) that are tied to the house. What would you do?
