My food stamps got cut to $16/month, so I need to be especially careful about how much I spend on food now. I work loading trucks, so I burn a lot of calories. I ate maybe around 3,000 calories per day (mostly after work) before my food stamps got cut, and still lost a lot of weight. I wouldn't be able to get by on a light, vegan diet like people on here seem to like to recommend. I'm also a student, so I have very little time to cook. I get home at 10 or later and get up at 7 (when you work as hard as I do, 7-8 hours is not enough sleep.) I don't have enough time in the morning to cook breakfast, and I have to eat lunch in my car. With that in mind, how can I make the most of my food budget?
