I work from home, I have an 8 foot work bench that I need to get from either end smoothly. I bought a sheet of plywood, 5/8" if I remember correctly. I thought that would be sufficient, but its not. I am constantly dragging the chair around. I cleaned the casters real well, that didnt help so I bought new ones. they were no better. is there a hard surface I can fix to the ply wood that will allow my chair to glide smoothly across? ive seen the roller blade type casters and the over size wheel casters. im hesitant to buy those, my cat likes to lay at my feet and I dont want to risk running over a paw or tail. I was at a clients house, he had the same set up, with something like kitchen linoleum but it was pretty hard. his chairs with the same hard plastic casters worked very well on it. he didnt know exactly what the product was though. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2UUOhXQ
