My buddy is helping my tile a shower/tub combo. He wants to use cement board (he's got some experience with bathroom reno's). I'm looking to add a shower niche so there's some shelves. He said it's ok get a kerdiboard niche and use it with the cement boards. Does that makes sense/will it work? Is there a better type of shower niche to use with cement boards?
