I’m curious to read stories. To kick it off...
My girlfriend’s parents were out of town, and they had previously told us if we wanted to, to go there and take the shrimp & steak to cook before it went bad.
So instead of dinner, going out, etc, we ended up going to her parents house, and made a really special dinner with T bone & shrimp. Along with buffalo cauliflower and baked biscuits. All which cost us nothing.
My girlfriend works in the alcohol industry and had an extra bottle of nice wine, so there was that.
I did spend $10 on flowers... but I bought them at an Asian supermarket because the American supermarket equivalent was 2x-3x more! She got a laugh at that.
Anyway, I’m dating a catch, and I want to learn from you guys on ideas for next year. I doubt we’ll be in the same lucky situation as we found ourselves this year:)
