The plastic housing of my split-type LG AC cracked on its lower left side as can be seen on this image.So why did it crack? Well, the AC makes very loud rattling noise and it's very frustrating to me when I'm trying to sleep. Last night, I was ABOUT to get my sleep when the AC started making the stupid rattling noise again (it's as if something is repeatedly hitting something and intensity of the sound is not constant and it varies) and to my frustration (it was already near 12:00 AM, I was supposed to be asleep by 10:00 PM), I hit the bottom part of the AC, where the crack is present, with my fist (I usually do this to make it go away but this time I did it too hard out of frustration).I know I probably shouldn't have hit the AC in hopes of fixing it, but here we are. I would also like to know if this is for any reason covered under LG's 10-year warranty (it probably isn't, I don't know why I am asking). via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/39J5B6h
