I live in an apartment with one other person. We've had the same ISP for years and its always been horrible to us. Often not being functional, being overpriced, having bad customer service, us being forced to use it since its the only service wired in our building. Often we have to connect our computers to a mobile hotspot in order to get anything done.
How possible would it be to abandon the ISP and do everything completely wirelessly? The hotspot connection with our mobile provider is always pretty strong and far more consistent than our wired service. We don't pay for a landline or cable any more. We each have phones and computers, and use an Amazon fire stick TV, all which work with hotspots. I thought it would be advantageous to stop paying for bad service, and spend that money on mobile service with unlimited hotspot data - especially since that's internet we'd theoretically always have on the go.
Haven't really done any research, so if you're aware of any roadblocks in terms of the services provided by mobile data companies which would impede this theoretical plan, let me know.
