My wife worked for grub hub for about half of the year last year. While working she would get quarterly statements. Now that it is tax time we need her 1099s to submit our taxes. She tries to get online copies, grub hub says that they don't give electronic copies until Feb 15th, but mailed copies will be sent Jan. 31st. Feb 15th rolls around with no 1099s in the mail and no electronic copy of 1099. She calls and they claim she never submitted a W-9 form. She goes through her email and confirms that her w-9 was submitted and accepted by grub hub. She calls back and says such. They say that last year's drivers had problems with w-9s and she has to resubmit, which means it will probably be 2 more weeks until we get 1099s. We need to make this right and we would like to get our taxes done. What recourse do we have to settle this expeditiously?
