I'm wondering how people save money on contact lenses because I'm concerned I'm paying too much through my eye doctor.

I noticed that there is an eye doctor inside the Costco I usually go to and an eye exam there is already $25 less than what I was paying for my yearly exam. So I made an appointment for tomorrow and I'm assuming that if he's inside Costco, it would be easy to order them through Costco and probably save money.

I am aware of sites like 1-800 Contacts but never ordered from them so I'm not quite sure how it works. Do I just take the prescription with me from the doctor's office and submit it to the site?

Also, I don't know how flexible I can be on brands. I have extremely dry eyes so I use 1-Day Acuvue Moist lenses. I have been using these for years because other lenses I tried in the past were causing me problems. Any ideas are certainly welcome.
