I posted something similar on r/anticonsumerism but didn't really get the type of responses I was hoping for. So I figured I'd try here!
I need help getting away from the grip of "the man" (for lack of a better term). I get sickened thinking/reading about big food, big pharma, and lies of the government - and then getting pulled back in due to my sugar addiction and years of conditioning that all of this is "normal".
When I was transitioning from Vegetarian to Vegan, I forced myself to watch cruel Dairy Farm footage, because I knew I'd never eat dairy again.
Overall, I want to live simple, be healthy, and self sufficient. I want to be aware of the trickery around me and avoid it by providing for myself.
What is something that I can contemplate, read, research, watch, etc, that will finally make me fed up with the wool being pulled over my eyes?
Do you have any tips or any experience to share?
Thank you! 🙏✨
