I live in a condo and own the end unit so it's 4 stories. On the ground level above the first set (of uneven) stairs there is both a monoxide detector and a lightbulb. The bulb is dead and the batteries in the detector are dying so it beeps continuously ever 8 hours. I know my neighbor can hear it because I can hear it all the way from the 4th story bedroom. The annoying part is I live alone and I'm pushing the weight limit for most ladders (300lb with clothes and tools, food and poop in me etc). The ceiling is at least 15 feet from the floor. Any scissor 12ft ladder will not be able to fully scissor out because the fucking steps are too narrow for a full extension without running into a different step on a totally different level. I'm at a loss. Even if I bought a ladder to lean against the wall I wouldn't even know what wall to lean it on because it seems to be equidistant from any wall.Gonna lose my mind cuz im sure my neighbor will start making complaints about the beeping soon. Here are pics:https://ift.tt/30xoPIp via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/38iQake
