Hi all,
I am 26 years old. I have a 401k through my employer that uses Fidelity. I have been letting them manage it but I have been evaluating the fees associated with all of my investment/retirement accounts. They charge an annual advisory fee of 0.30% for the first 100k in the account (I'm nowhere near that) and the fee goes down as the balance increases. I have been reading through post like:
Trying to make sense of them since I'm pretty new the self-management idea.
Many have made it seem like it is pretty straight forward to manage a 401k account. Set up allocations, then re-evaluated/re-allocate in a couple of years or so.
Is it worth managing this by myself or just leaving it with them? Thanks!
Here are my investment options:
Currently have 100% in Retirement 2060 Fund, Blended Fund Investments
