There's a thread in one of the fashion subs that made me think about how clothes can make such a big statement.
I grew up with hand-me-downs, controlling family, and body issues so I spent a veery long time wearing things that I hated and hating myself as well. I'm starting to buy my own things that I like, but I always wondered about guidelines on appearing "rich" or "poor" or "demure" or "dramatic." Any tips or discussion about fashion appreciated.
