I've been seeing this everywhere on social media and news outlets like marketwatch. And this is isn't recent, it's been going on for more than a year where people say "the next recession is about to hit, buddy" or if the Dow goes down by 0.1% people go nuts and say the "bubble" has popped. With 0 context or evidence to back any of this up, they just say it, so I sit there like wtf are these people talking about, what is it that I am not aware of?
I hope I'm not coming off as gullible but I've seen this more often than not and cant seem to pinpoint what the scare is. Can someone please educate me on what I am missing? In my eyes I think the economy is doing great, unemployment is low, and people are making and spending more money on average now than ever before.
