I just sold my car and I have about 6k in liquid cash. I want to keep this as a small savings maybe for a wedding ring or a big purchase for myself in a year or two. Should I keep this in my high yield savings at 1.75 APY or should I put this in my brokerage and in a S&P500 ETF with my Schwab account? I'm okay with a bit of risk since I don't see myself needing this for a while and I also want to keep it myself from dipping into it.
