For yield chasing conservatives investors, it would seem preferred shares are a golden ticket for the higher yields of bonds in the past but with virtually no risk or volatility. Yet it seems most preferred shares are owned by institutional investors rather than retail ones, even though they seem to be highly attractive and make for a favourable safe investment
