My grandfather is 84. For the Winter Holidays, he wants to get me a set of tools. The budget is likely ~$350 or so. He isn't very wealthy. Any good sets or individual tools that I need that will last that fall within this budget?
(No power tools, please, as my father will be getting these for me. I already have a ratcheting screwdriver set. Not to be too choosy, but preferably made in the 1st world. USA, Japan, Germany, Taiwan, Etc.)
These would essentially be for doing things around the house, automotive work, minimal carpentry.
