Short backstory in bullet points.

-Previous job labelled me a perfect employee but due to budget restrictions, couldn't give me a raise on my 2nd year so I left, I was earning 53K

-They (magically) found extra funds and offered up to 72K when I gave my 2 weeks, I refused

-I currently make 63K, (+up to 10K bonus based on company performance), it is right in the middle of the salary average numbers for my job (aside from the bonuses) and I have 4 years experiences.

-Tried to negotiate the contract when hired for a 70K base salary, arguing that I had a record of exceeding expectations in my previous jobs, they said they were tied to benchmarks and to try in january when the evaluations happen

-After my 3months probation my manager informed me that they were initially looking to hire 1 more person with the same job as mine, but I was so productive they no longer believe it will be necessary, everything else seems to be doing great

-So bottom line is, I'm on track to look like a model employee yet again so far!

Evaluation periods begin literally next week. Is it reasonable to argue that as I had stated, the quality of my work far exceed expectations and is not reflective of my current average salary, that my performance is already saving the company thousands of dollar (since I can apparently do the job they planned for 2 employees) and that I deserve a 12% raise (Which would bring me up to my initial demand of 70K base salary). What do you guys think?
