Awhile ago I asked about removing old deck posts. https://ift.tt/2L2cVzZ The deck was 2 different areas. The lower part was done properly with concrete in the post holes. I removed all that with the front end loader and it made a huge mess, huge mounds of dirt came up with the posts and concrete bases. No problem I planned to make that into a garden. Just level it out. With the upper level I wanted to rebuild a new deck. So it was important not to disturb the soil. I asked before any good ideas how to deal with this problem.Well! I just grabbed hold of the posts and pulled them out by hand. They put posts in less than 2 feet deep with no concrete. The deck looked really good for staying flat no problems. It actually stayed in much better shape than the lower deck. This is deep winter frost area. The new one is concrete posts all done properly.https://ift.tt/2OsqKd0 via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2L5sg2B
