I'm a college student so I currently don't have very much that will work for the job that I will start in January. I was planning on getting the clothes I need for work during the Black Friday sale. However, I've heard general advice not to purchase anything for work until you got a better handle on the dress code. While this makes sense to me, I don't have very much to fit the dress code and would like to avoid spending a lot more money later on.
Have any of you purchased new clothes for work before you even started? If so, did you regret it or were you glad you made the decision.
