Pics for reference https://ift.tt/2PTptNj few weeks ago we had a wall removed and an island with a breakfast bar built in it's place.Today we had the countertop company out to measure for the install, and it turns out the right side of the raised bar portion is about 5/8" lower than the left most side. The cabinets themselves are even, the raised portion behind it is not.So with that big of an unevenness they asked us to fix that first and they'll come back next week to measure again.Does anyone have any suggestions for the best way to fix it? My first thought was to find some shims that are the right size and nail them on top of the 2x4 but I'm not sure if thats the best course. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2JYQta8
