While installing a door panel with a pet door on my door tracks I noticed that the sliding door is sitting slightly lower on the trailing side. There is a narrow v shaped gap between the sliding door and the panel I’m installing. Also there is some play, ie I can lift the lower side to make it level. I never noticed this because there is no visible gap since the door is inside the jamb when closed. I looked online and realized the solution is a simple turn of height adjustment screws. But I don’t see any screws I can turn to make a height adjustment! The screws in the picture of trailing end is a fastening screw. However I noticed holes under the fastener and the round bumper where I expected the height adjusters to be. When I stuck a screw driver in the holes, there is nothing there; just the track and the underside of the door. I’m not the original owner of the house. Is it possible the door was installed without height adjustment? If so am I SOL without taking the door out? Any alternatives I can try to level the door?https://ift.tt/2pJZHQL via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/37zyh1e
