The other day some water got spilled on an outlet in our bedroom. At first we did not notice water had gotten in the outlet until there was a slight smell of smoke and then it immediately became clear what happened. The outlet dried out and I've since replaced it however that outlet and a handful of other outlets nearby no longer work. No breaker switches ever tripped. Today I took the cover off the panel and tested all of the breaker switches with a multimeter. Nothing amiss and all seem to be working. I'm at a loss for what could be wrong at this point.
