I am in the process of preparing for a facelift of my basement. I live in a cold climate, and my basement is the floor that we enter into (often with wet, slushy boots in winter). My husband and I were leaning towards a vinyl plank flooring because it is waterproof, durable, and scratch resistant (have a dog and two kids). When I went to a flooring retailer in my area, they recommended considering a relatively new product, supposedly waterproof laminate. They showed us Fuzguard flooring and Armstrong Audacity. I am drawn to the fact that it is much thicker than vinyl plank flooring, and it is supposed to be much more scratch resistant; that said, I haven’t been able to find any reviews online about either product. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2ViKzFC
