Simple living to me means having a smaller dwelling for environmental reasons and so I don't have to spend as much time cleaning the space. Does anyone live in or know of any areas in the US with a decent supply of homes that are around 1000 sq feet? I have thought about a condo or townhouse, but I'd prefer a home so I can have more outdoor space for a greenhouse/garden on the property. Located within 1-1.5 hours from a mid-size to larger city is ideal, but not necessary. Any and all suggestions are welcome.
