Hi, I'm a poor college student from Indiana and I'm trying to find clothes before winter hits. So far I found an outer shell I like (Carhatt Duck Active Jacket), but the fact it's made out of cotton duck as an outer shell scares me, since if cotton gets wet it's useless. Is it good? My budget for an outer shell is $100, maybe $150 if absolutely necessary. Thank you in advance.
