I currently have a North Face Surge from around 2008-2009. It works fine, but I travel with some computer peripherals and is prefer to have a better compartment for those dongles. I think the surge is 31L.

I’ve looked at the Briggs and Riley large cargo backpack. That seems to fit what I want, but I am not sure if the sides will fit my yeti tumbler (26oz).

Here’s what I’ll put in the bag:
Toiletry bag(also Briggs and Riley)
Dell tablet and business portfolio (been putting in my surge laptop sleeve compartment without issue)
Nintendo switch
Book
Mouse for computer Chargers
Computer charger and dongles
Sunglasses in case
Tablet holder so I can hold in one hand when I present

It fits in my current bag , but if I put anymore in there, I’d get worried. I have a carry on suitcase also.

I’m just looking for something more business like for my upcoming work travel. Would prefer to stay under $400.

I’ve also looked at the tortuga, but that seems to have more daypack/weekend options that I don’t need, like a shoe compartment. I prefer luggage pass through and mesh straps and back. Those seem standard nowadays.
