Ive noticed a trend since I first came to this subreddit when I started my first job. Alot of posts that I suspect are very obvious for you seasoned personal finance people seem to be downvoted to oblivion, or otherwise the OP is treated like a complete idiot. "I have cc debt, should I buy a house?", "Should I take out a loan to pay for my wedding?". Yes, i use to come to this page daily, so I know how dumb these sound. However everyone starts somewhere and a majority of people were never taught these things. And the reality is that alot of you are in the very minority of people with knowledge on dealing with finances responsibly.
