Im planning on moving out with my boyfriend next year, so im saving my pennies while living with family to get a rent stash going. On top of that though, we will need some furniture. We currently have 2 dressers, 2-3 coffee tables, a desk, 2- 4 shelf things (BF goes around on trash day to find random pieces, so idk how much he actually has stashed) and miscellaneous kitchen items. However, well need a dining table and a sofa and armchair to have a "complete" home. Im absolutely fine with getting a dining set from a place like Craigslist, goodwill, or whatever, but i wouldnt want to get upholstered goods used, or at least from non-family or friend sources for fear of bedbugs and other grossness. Any places other than Ikea ( i love ikea but its good to shop around) to get cheap furniture?
