Hello all I am looking for a Visa or MasterCard with a super small limit, from a reasonably well known issuer. Nothing predatory, none of those OpenSky type ones where they charge you $50 per year. Capital One's looked great since I could pay $49 $99 or $200 for a $200 credit limit, which is all I need.
I just want the card around to be able to make a few purchases on my own when the stores don't take Discover, and have a basic card that helps boost my AAOA in the long run. No annual fee, no bullshit fees basically, just a basic level Visa/MC. I don't use debit cards for personal reasons.
Financial situation is basically no income (500 per year) and around 3.5k in the bank.
Quite honestly I'm unsure why I'm getting denied from this secured card, Discover's been reporting for a few months and I'm not applying to anything with a major limit, not even another $500 limit card. Can anyone possibly tell me why or put me in touch with a working Capital One recon line?
