Salary is 45,000/yr I am looking into getting a used car/truck. I have a 40 minute commute each day which involves big hills and a mountain. So I’m looking for an AWD sedan or a truck. I really like a Toyota Tacoma but they’re all roughly 25-30k. My question is, is it financially irresponsible to go forward with a Tacoma and pay about 400-500 a month even though the resale value is high? Or should I play it safe with an AWD sedan? Thank you!
